1, Requriement project details:

2, According to the building structure to select camera type (outdoor or indoor? IR or no IR? Lens ,Vandalproof or not ,waterproof or not,IR distance, And monitoring locations.
3, According to the layout of the monitoring to select switch. (Switch bandwidth requirements, whether with poe? Distance between the switch away from the monitoring point no more than 100 meters, the use of optical networks can reach tens of kilometers)
4, According to the number of cameras and recording time, video quality to calculate the required total storage space, and then calculate the total number of hard disk drives based on a single hard disk drive, taking into format of the hard drive and RAID level overhead.
5, According to the number of hard disk and maximum NVR number to calculate the required quantity of NVR .Dozens of small projects can use embedded NVR, more than 100 ch ip camera better use server-class PC-based NVR.
6. Select the CMS software along with NVR, and monitoring and management host PC;
7, The decoding device, and a display device on the wall;
8, Make the final list of equipment and pricing.
