How to monitor or display the video of NVR/DR from MAC

Because most of IP camera/NVR / DVR only support Windows and IE, don't support Safari and Mac system, how we can display the video on Mac? Almost all IP camera / NVR /DVR support RTSP, we can use the popluar standard video player software, like VLC (Video Lan) or Quicktime whese software support standard video stream protocol: RTSP.

We input RTSP URL of IP camera / DVR /NVR in plalyer, Sysvideo SN7000 series NVR RTSP URL is:

rtsp://ip:554/H264?ch=1&subtype=0

for example, NVR IP address is 192.168.100.88, so now if we want to monitor the first channel, the URL is:

rtsp://192.168.100.88:554/H.264?ch=1&subtype=0

Sysvideo SC5000 and SC6000 series IP camera RTSP URL is:

Mainstream:

rtsp://IP:554/av0_0

Sub stream:

rtsp://IP:554/av0_1
